Dr. Ellis was born in
Sherman Texas. After graduating from Hillcrest High School, where
he was captain of the football team, he received his undergraduate
degree from the University of Texas at Austin. After college
Dr. Ellis went to Southern Methodist University School of Law
to receive his J.D. He then completed his medical degree at the
University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
Dr. Ellis completed
his internship and residency, both in Orthopaedic Surgery, at the University of South Florida Affiliated Hospitals. After his fellowship in hand surgery, he received his board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery with added certification as a hand surgeon.
He recently completed his re-certification.
Dr. Ellis practices at Baylor University Medical Center, the Dallas VA Hospital, and Parkland Memorial Hospital and is a member of
